What You’ll Be Doing:
Lifeguarding & Pool Operations:
  • Keeping everyone safe through vigilant, proactive pool supervision
  • Responding calmly and effectively to emergencies
  • Carrying out pool checks, water testing, and supporting plant operations (training provided)
  • Helping maintain clean, safe, well‑organised facilities
  • Ensuring we meet high standards in safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance
Sports & Activity Coaching:
  • Supporting inclusive swimming, sports, and fitness sessions
  • Helping people build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy being active
  • Creating fun, accessible activities tailored to individual needs
  • Bringing ideas to help shape our future sports and wellbeing programmes
  • Encouraging participation, engagement, and positive experiences for all

A Genuine Development Opportunity:
We’ll support you to grow your skills and confidence, with opportunities to develop in:
  • Sports coaching
  • Activity planning and delivery
  • Inclusive practice
  • Pool operations and plant management
  • Leadership within activity programmes

And remember — if you’re not yet a qualified lifeguard, we can train you!

About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Is a confident swimmer and committed to safety
  • Brings a positive, proactive, can‑do attitude
  • Enjoys supporting people of all abilities
  • Communicates clearly and kindly
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Is flexible, reliable, and eager to learn
  • Has experience or interest in supporting adults with learning disabilities
  • Wants to help create meaningful, enjoyable activity opportunities

Why Join Us?
  • Be part of a supportive, friendly, values‑driven team
  • Make a real difference to people’s wellbeing and confidence
  • Enjoy a varied role with genuine progression opportunities
  • Access training and development to grow your career
  • Work in a positive environment where inclusion, respect, and enjoyment are at the heart of everything we do
