The Role:
- As a Human Resources Adviser, you'll provide expert, customer-focused HR advice and support to managers and employees across the organisation.
- You'll work with operational leaders to navigate complex employment matters, support organisational objectives, and ensure we continue to deliver excellent people practices throughout the employee lifecycle.
- This role offers the perfect combination of operational HR, Employee Relations, project work, and strategic involvement, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their HR experience and further develop their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional advice on Employee Relations matters, employment legislation, HR policies, and best practice.
- Manage and support a varied caseload including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability, and performance matters.
- Coach and develop managers to build confidence in people management.
- Support organisational wellbeing initiatives and employee engagement activities.
- Deliver training and workshops on HR-related topics.
- Contribute to People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support policy development and implementation across the organisation.
- Analyse trends and data to help inform workforce decisions and future planning.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking someone who combines strong HR knowledge with excellent relationship-building skills.
You'll have:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification and membership (or equivalent experience).
- Proven Employee Relations experience within a busy HR environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and coaching skills.
- Confidence working with managers at all levels.
- A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and improving the colleague experience.
